What are Customer Accounts?
Customer accounts let your customers log in to view their orders, profile information, and saved addresses. When a customer logs in, the details stored in their account are auto-filled during checkout for a faster checkout experience.
Classic Customer Accounts
Not currently supported by Framer Commerce
Customizable account screens that exist directly on your website
Customers log in using an email and a password or sign in with Shop
New Customer Accounts
Supported by Framer Commerce
Lives on a dedicated Shopify-hosted experience ilke the Checkout screen
Customers log in with a one-time six-digit verification code, or sign in with Shop.
Allows users to save payment methods
Supports reordering, self-serve returns, and B2B

Switch to New Customer Accounts

From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Customer accounts

In the "Choose which version of customer accounts to link to" section, select "New"

Click "Switch to new customer accounts"

Add a link on your Framer site that goes to your Account page
Make sure you go to the next step of "Set custom domains & redirects" to customize the URL.
